Sucker Rod Pump for Oil Well Production
Pumping pump is a common downhole device driven by a pumping unit to pump crude oil from the well to the ground. General pumping pump is mainly composed of four parts: barrel, suction valve, plunger, and exclusion valve. According to the fixed way of sucker rod pump in the underground, it can be divided into rod pump and tubing pump.
Rod pump is suitable for low temperature of deep wall and deviated well drilling, resistant corrosion is well. Rod pump is inside the tubing and suspended with the support joint. Plunger assembly is connected on the rod string. It down to support joint position with the whole pump. By external force, rod pump is fixed in the support joint. Sucker rod which has the plunger assembly in, up and down movement to achieve pump operation.
For tubing pump, the barrel assembly is connected on the tubing string to down to the well bottom. Plunger assembly is connected on the rod string. It down with the barrel and moving up and down to pump the oil.
